It’s important to have fun with photo sessions in the snow…and these two nailed it! Snowball fights, snow angels and hiking up narrow trails just to get the perfect shots. I myself am a snow bunny, born and raised in the heart of Cleveland Ohio. So, when I got this call from Erica, I was so excited to go play in the white stuff for an amazing Cleveland winter engagement session.

Engagement sessions should say something about your relationship. Ryan & Brit are getting married this summer back home in small town PA. The new addition to the family is Chase, a very sweet and beautiful rescue doggie. We managed to pick a rainy day for the photo session, but thanks to the local pizza place (Lu’s), we were able to dry off and warm up mid-way through. Enjoy the previews!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 11,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

I’ve known this family since I was about five years old, so I was really looking forward to this wedding. Couldn’t wait to see the fall decorations and her mother’s wedding dress made into the ring pillows. To top it all off, guess who won the anniversary dance longest married couple….MY parents! Way to go, mom & dad. What’s your advice to the bride & groom? “Never go to bed mad and learn to say yes, honey”

I’ve known Amanda a while, well, ever since she moved to Ohio. We’ve worked together, Dale Carnegie’d together and celebrated many a birthday together (which is today, for Amanda!) I was so happy to hear about her and Scott’s engagement! He’s the low-key southern boy and she’s the energetic optimist…the perfect couple!

I’ve never been so tempted to post hundreds of previews for Sherri & Scott. What a beautiful couple both inside and out. Sherri has the most infectious smile and enjoys every minute of life. Scott loves his daughter and new wife so unconditionally, it shines through in every image we took.
V’Sonno was the salon where we met for start of the day. Sherri went all out with fresh strawberries for the famous pre-wedding jitter drinks.
Olivia was so nervous about her dad getting married, but we caught her having fun too 🙂
I am kind of drawn to pianos…especially baby grands. Don’t miss the music sheet title!
This book is now on my read list, and it’s fireproof…
My first time at LaMalfa Centre and I was so impressed. The atmosphere was elegant, the food five-star and the owner even came out to help pour wine.
Spin Productions DJ did an amazing job at keeping everyone on the dance floor. There could’ve been a waiting list to get on the dance floor it was so packed! Sherri hung in there and danced all night…yay!

Don’s the social butterfly, Pat’s the sweetest lady you’ve ever met. The backyard was decorated beautifully and many guests came from states away to attend. Despite the strong sunlight, we found a few shady spots for big groups of family pictures. I love shooting these events because it’s rare when this many family and friends gather in one place. It’s a day to remember, and I was honored to capture those relationships!
